Bacta-Pur® N3000 is a balanced community of nitrifying and small fraction of denitrifying (heterotrophic) bacteria, selected for their ability to nitrify and denitrify in fresh and salt water. It helps to reduce the soluble phosphorous, which has a considerable impact on freshwater systems.

Bacta-Pur® N3000 converts pollution into bacterial biomass, which becomes natural healthful food for fishes and invertebrates.

Bacta Pur® N3000 should simply be diluted* 10-100 times with lake water and then sprayed onto the lake surface. The dilution is important to assure an even distribution across the water body.

The general dose rate is between 0.5 and 1 ppm based on lake volume. The dose rate can be doubled for the first three weeks to accelerate the start-up of the enhanced biological processes.
