BACTIVATOR® automatically performs the following operations:

  • brings the packaged culture out of dormancy;
  • grows the beneficial microorganisms to increase their numbers;
  • optimizes their physiological condition to be in a rapid phase of growth;
  • adds active not just dormant culture 24 hours per day.

The BACTIVATOR® LSN  and AQN models are used for continuous pre activation, growth and addition of  the beneficial nitrifying / denitrifying culture, Bacta-Pur® N3000. These models require the Bacta-Pur® N-KIT (24L) for operation.  The Bacta-Pur® N-KIT includes the Bacta-Pur® N3000 together with Bacta-Pur® PRECONDITIONER N. The Bacta-Pur® PRECONDITIONER N provides the essential nutrients and pH control to ensure the optimal conditions for growth of community of microorganisms responsable for nitrification /denitrification and phosphorous assimilation.

The BACTIVATOR® can help to stabilize the operation of biofilters with fluctuating loads.  It continously supplies the community of  beneficial microorganisms, which are responsable for the removal of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and soluble phosphorous.  It is designed to ensure the presence of all members of this community and that they are continuously  added in an active phase of growth.
